Exercise: 60 minute aqua aerobics class – she worked us hard. She always does. She’s one instructor that takes her job seriously and is not only encouraging but motivating. She squeezes the last little bit of energy out of me in every class I take from her.
Insomnia: Up since 2AM. Need a nap. Took a nap. This has been going on for too long. It’s time to get a handle on it. 3-4 hours of sleep is simply not enough. I’m sure it’s menopause related but there must be something I can do to minimize it. I’ve tried a few sleep CDs. I’ve tried sleep meditation. I’ve tried EFT. I’ve tried camomile tea. Occasionally, I’ve even used Ambien. I find that I wake up nearly every night about 2AM and then can’t get back to sleep. Checked out a book from the library today on homeopathic solutions to insomnia so will be reading that for ideas.

Don’t you just love Paul Newman’s original salad dressing? It’s got to be one of my favorites.
Regarding the insomnia…. Have you tried a warm lavender bath and burning lavender candles or putting a lavender sachet near your head at night?
Do you just wake up or is it something that wakes you up (e.g. noise, body temperature, etc.)?

Ahhh you’re stealing my stuff!! hahahaha
I just wrote a big blog to post tomorrow which involves me talking about people being connected to one another, etc. How odd! 😉
And one of my fav quotes ever “progress not perfection”. Spot on.
I wanted to keep eating but I wasn’t hungry so I stopped. I think each time I stop eating when I’m NOT hungry helps me for the next time.
I experience the exact same thing. It’s like your stomach ‘remembers’ what you did last meal…..
